Morning Joe (MSNBC 6:00 am - 9:00 am Mon. - Fri.) co-host Mika Brzezinski, a 1989 graduate of Williams is the subject of a Q & A in the July issue of Runner's World magazine.
There are runners and there are runners. Mika sqaurely falls in
the serious runner category. The Q & A for Runner's World
magazine was conducted on a cell phone while Mika was in the midst
of her daily run. When you read the Q & A you will find out how
long the interview was in miles run.
Brzezinski transferred to Williams for her junior year from
Georgetwon University. At Williams Mika competed in cross country
and track and field for two years and her coaches at the time,
Larry Bell (X-C) and Pete Farwell (track & field) both remember
needing to try and hold her back in her training because of her
boundless love of running.
