The Williams women will compete in the Div. III NCAA Championship on Saturday, hosted by Baldwin-Wallace College at the Highland Park Golf Course in Highland Hills, Ohio.

The Ephs hosted the ECAC Championships this Saturday and finished second to Middlebury College.

Ephs look to claim 3rd straight ECAC title
This Saturday, the Ephwomen harriers will compete on their home course at Mt. Greylock High School in hopes of securing their 3rd consecutive ECAC title. While the top 7 have a week off to rest up for the Div. III New England Regional Championship, the ‘second 7’ will step up to defend the ECAC title.

The ephs palced four runners on the All-NESCAC teams and finsihed second at the conference championships.

Ephs take 2nd at NESCAC Championships
Manchester, CT—First-year Jennifer Gossels led the Williams women to a 2nd-place finish today at the 2009 NESCAC Championships, hosted by Trinity College at Wickham Park. Middlebury claimed their 10th NESCAC title with 49 points, followed by Williams (59), Amherst (71) and Wesleyan (87).

Ephs to race at NESCAC Championship
The top 12 Williams women harriers will head to Wickham Park in Manchester, CT this Sunday for the 2009 NESCAC Cross Country Championship, which will be hosted by Trinity College. With 7 of the currently ranked top 10 teams in New England competing this weekend, the Ephs will face stiff competition.

Ephs repeat as Little Three champions at Amherst
Senior Bret Scofield finished 4th overall to lead the Ephs to their second straight Little Three title.

Plansky Invitational showcases athlete debuts and alumni
The crisp fall air and bright sun made for a gorgeous day of racing at Mount Greylock High School, where alumni returned to run among current Ephs and former teammates on Saturday. In the women's 6k race, RPI cruised to victory, winning with 24 points and beating out Connecticut College (32 points) by 8 points.

Ephs take seventh at Division I New Englands
The Ephs headed east to Boston’s Franklin Park on Saturday for the Division I New England Cross Country Championship, where the Varsity women finished 7th out of 49 teams. The Williams women harriers cruised across the quick 5k course and among Division III competition were outrun only by fourth-place MIT.

Williams women take second at Purple Valley Classic behind Johns Hopkins University
The Ephs displayed their tried and true packing strategy on Saturday, snagging second place in the Purple Valley Classic, the first home meet of the season. Four Williams women secured places in the top 12, leading the team to finish with 55 points, ahead of reigning Div. III national champions, Middlebury College.

Full roster to compete on home turf in Purple Valley Classic
This week the Ephs are tuning up for the annual Purple Valley Classic on Saturday, held on their home course at Mt. Greylock High School, four miles south of Williamstown on Rt. 7. Thirteen women’s teams will compete in two races—an open coed 5k at 11:30 a.m. and a women’s 6k at 12:45 p.m.

Ephs take second in Panther Invite
A group of 14 Ephs traveled to Middlebury College today to compete in the Panther Invitational. Pacing themselves smartly through the 5k race, the Ephs cruised to second out of six teams in the meet despite the absence of many team members.

Ephs sport spirit, kick off season with Coed Relays
The Ephwomen harriers kicked off the season with a lighthearted coed relay meet against archrival Middlebury. Donning wacky outfits ranging from a bride and groom to a cross-dressing duo, the two teams brought creative competition to the Ephs’ home course.
