Middlebury wins N.E. Regional; Ephs 2nd, qualify for NCAA championship
WILLIAMSTOWN, MA — Middlebury College placed three runners in the top 10 Saturday en route to winning the Div. III New England Regional hosted by Williams College at Mount Greylock Regional High School.
Host Williams finished second, led by Lauren Philbrook, who placed second overall to individual winner Elise Tropiano of Amherst, who covered the 6K course in 21 minutes, 49.3 seconds. Philbrook's time was 22:28.9.
