First year multi-event competitor Tanaisa Hoffler (Cheshire, CT) was named the NESCAC Women’ Field Performer of the Week in Track & Field for her performance in helping the Ephs win their 25th straight Little Three title.

Williams won the Little Three championship crown with a total of 187 points, while Amherst was second (115) and Wesleyan third (83).

Hoffler recorded two individual first place field event finishes at the Little Three Championships Saturday, taking the triple jump with a mark of 11.79 meters and the long jump with a leap of 5.23 meters. She also ran the third leg of the 4x100 relay that won in 50.85.

Hoffler’s triple jump mark qualified her for the Division III New England Championships, the Open New England Championships (all divisions) and is a provisional qualifying leap for the NCAA Division III Championships. Her long jump effort on Saturday qualified her for the Division III New England championships in the event.

This Saturday Hoffler and the Ephs will be in Medford, Mass. at Tufts University trying to win their 10th consecutive NESCAC title.
