Kndratjeva & Robie post "provo" times in 800m at Univ. of Richmond Invite

RICHMOND, VA – Competing in a field of five Division I teams, two Division II teams and an NAIA school the Ephs found it a challenge to post their usual number of high place finishes at the Fred Hardy Invitational at the University of Richmond.

Highlighting the day was the runs by Olga Kndratjeva and Lissy Robie in the 800m. Kondratjeva finished third in 2:14.23 and Robie was fourth in a time of 2:14.66 and both times are NCAA provisional qualifiers.

The Eph 4X400 relay team of Sara Wild, Veronica Ivey, Carrie Plitt and Elise Johnson were times in 4:05.57

Ariel Williams took fourth in the 1500 in 4:43.12.

First year Kristen Baldiga posted the lone top five field event finish for Williams when she placed fifth in the javelin with a toss of 31.39m.

Carrie Plitt also contributed a 6th place finish in the 400 (59.02).

The Ephs will be in action again next Saturday when they host their only home event of the spring season.
