Eph women's tennis generating lots of notice on NCAA.com site

This spring Alex Prewitt is writing a notebook for NCAA.com about Division III women’s tennis and in three of his dispatches the Williams team has been prominently mentioned. Links are provided below to the three articles featuring the Ephs and Prewitt’s most recent post provides a good look inside the Eph team and illuminates what makes the Ephs and their approach so special.

Alison Swain’s Ephs are seeking a third consecutive NCAA championship and are currently 12-2 on the year (12-1 in Division III play) and on a 5-mach win streak as they head into Saturday’s contest at NESCAC foe Bowdoin.

The lone loss in the last six matches came over spring break when the Ephs lost at Division I James Madison, 5-2.

This past Sunday the #2 Ephs avenged their only Division III loss when they defeated arch rival #1 Amherst in Amherst and South Hadley, MA, 6-3 in a match that started off outdoors in Amherst and concluded indoors in South Hadley.
