Tournament in singles, NEWITT Tournament champion in Flight #5
singles. Posted a 9-1 record at #4 doubles. Simon Most
Improved Award Recipient.
Freshman Year: Posted a 19-9 singles record at the #3
position, 2nd place finish at the NEWITT Tournament in Flight
#3. Posted a 18-12 record at #3 doubles with partners Annie
Hancock ‘09 and Genny Loomis ’10, 2nd place finish at
the NEWITT Tournament in Flight #3 with Hancock. ITA
All-Academic Team. Finished 4th at NCAA Team
Championships.
High School: Played for New Canaan High School for four
years. Individual State Singles Champion 2006, Team State
Champions 2004-2006. Best Player in the State 2006, Zonal
Sportsmanship Award 2005. Competed in New England region and
nationally in USTA tennis earning a high ranking of 8 in the
region, 207 nationally in girls 18s.
Personal: Daughter of Jim and Susan Parsons, sisters Chrissie,
Molly, and Hayley. Jim Parsons ‘78 attended Williams
College where he played tennis and squash.
