Ephs host NCAA Regional Play this weekend -- match schedule set

Play begins Friday morning in the six-team NCAA Div. III Tennis regional being hosted by the Williams College Ephs. St. Lawrence and SUNY New Paltz will meet at 9:00 am, followed by a match between Tufts and Roger Williams University at 12:00 pm.

With good weather play will be held at The Torrence M. Hunt '44 Tournament Courts. Should weather force play indoors then the matches will be held in Lansing Chapman Rink.

Host Williams, coached by rookie head coach Alison Swain is making its 16th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. Williams has been seeded first in the region and will play its first match on Saturday morning at 9:00 am. Second seeded Wellesley College also received a first round bye and will first see action at 12:00 pm on Saturday.

Saturday's winners will meet on Sunday at 12:00 pm to determine which team will advance to the NCAA quarterfinals on May 13th on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn.

Saturday, May 3rd   
9:00 am – Williams #2 (16-3)  vs. winner of St. Lawrence/SUNY New Paltz
12:00pm – Wellesley #8 (19-4)  vs. winner of Tufts/Roger Williams

Sunday, May 4th   
12:00pm -- Regional Tournament Final
