NCAA Individual Champions
Through the 2006-2007 season the Ephs have won 67 individual titles.
Katherine Eckrich '85 won five events in 1982 and
swam on two winning relay teams that year. During her career at
Williams, Eckrich accumulated ten individual titles and swam on
seven winning relay teams. Eckerich is the Eph leader in individual
titles (10), relay titles (7) and total titles (17).
Erin Anderson '00 won the 100-Freestyle, 100-Breast and 200 Breast
three years in a row and swam on one winning relay for a total of
nine individual titles and one relay title (10 titles overal
Lindsay Payne '06 was the first swimmer to win the 100-yard breaststroke at the NCAA Division III Championships four times. Payne was also named the Swimmer of the Meet at the NCAA Championships in 2005 and 2006. In her career Payne won eight individual titles and four relays for a total of 12 NCAA titles.
Elizabeth Jex '83 won four events in 1982 and swam on three winning relay teams as the Ephs won their first of two consecutive NCAA titles. Her seven combined titles at the 1982 NCAA Championships tied her with teammate Katherine Eckrich for the Eph record for combined titles at one championship with seven. Eckrich also won her seven titles in 1982.
Kristine Taylor '01 is the lone Eph diver to win the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events in the same year, completing the double in 1998.
