MINNEAPOLIS, MN – After impressive performances on day one, sophomore Logan Todhunter and freshman Caroline Wilson picked up two more national titles for the Ephs and helped Williams hold onto 3rd place in the 2010 NCAA Div. III Swimming and Diving championship.

Today proved to be yet another exciting day at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center. Spectators witnessed a standout performance from Todhunter, who smashed her own 2009 NCAA record by .6 seconds to win the 100 yard fly (52.94). "Logan's morning performance was unbelievable," said head coach Steve Kuster.

Earlier in the afternoon, Wilson placed first in the 400 IM with a time of 4:17.85. Her closest competitor, Liz Horvat of first place Emory University, placed second with a time of 4:19.53. "Caroline had another fantastic performance in winning the 400 IM tonight," said coach. "She took charge at about the halfway point and swam away from the National record holder to win by almost 2 seconds."

The Ephs also did very well in the 400 Medley Relay, when the team of Wilson, Todhunter, senior Lisa Cucolo, and freshman KC Ha placed 4th. According to coach, the key to taking this race was a "great backstroke leg by KC and a great breaststroke leg by Lisa Cucolo." Ha also had a great 100 fly tonight, winning the consolation final and finishing 9th (55.87).

"Both the men and the women had unbelievable evenings. We have had two fantastic days and we just need to finish the last two days as strong as we started the first."

Tomorrow the Ephs will compete in the 200 fly, 100 back, 100 breast, and 800 free relay. Action continues tomorrow with preliminaries at 11am. Watch it live here.
