Caroline Wilson NESCAC Women's Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week

HADLEY, MA -- For the second consecutive week first year Caroline Wilson (West Hartford, CT) added a school record to her brief collegiate resume when she established the Eph standard in the 1000 freestyle, winning in 10:05.75). Her time in the 1000 was also a personal best and a Muir-Samuelson Pool record.

Last week in the first collegiate event of her career Wilson set the Ephs standard in the 500 freestyle by finishing in 4:56.18. In last Saturday’s win over Connecticut College Wilson also took top honors in the 400 IM (4:28.36). On the strength of her pool and school record and the win in the 400 IM Wilson was named the NESCAC Women’s Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week.

The Ephs and Wilson will return to action on January 9th when they travel to Amherst to take on the Lord Jeffs at 1:00 PM.
