Ephwomen compete at Middlebury Invitational
MIDDLEBURY, VT- The Williams College women’s swimming and diving team (6-2) competed in the Middlebury Invitational Friday night. Day 1 action saw the Ephs grab an event victory to go along with a second and third place finish.
Sophomore Amanda Nicholson provided the lone Eph event win on the day in the 400 yard IM (4:34.80). Senior Annie Ferguson also had an impressive showing with a second place finish in the 1000 yard freestyle (10:49.24).
In the 400 yard medley realy, senior Michelle Kurkul, junior Kristan McIntosh, and sophomores Abby Islan and Sophia Sequeira teamed up to place third for the Ephs (3:44.27).
The Middlebury Invitational continues tomorrow, February 9th at 1 pm, with Day 2 action.
