Dils is a Williamstown resident of many years and has been assistant coach for the men's and women's team since the 2005-06 season.

He played for Bowdoin College, graduating in 1990, where he also played soccer and tennis for four years. He currently assists Coach Levy with the junior squash programs at the Simon Squash Center.

Dils is an English teacher at Mount Greylock High School and boys' varsity soccer coach. He holds his masters degree in English from The College of Saint Rose. His wife is Jessica Storey Dils, and together they have three children, Tommy, Miranda and Sam.
