Five Ephs named First Team All-New England

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA — Five members of the 2008 Williams College women’s soccer team were selected First Team All-New England for Div. III by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas, it was announced Tuesday. For four of the five — seniors Gabrielle Woodson and Caitlin Colesanti and juniors Brianna Wolfson and Lauren Sinnenberg — it was the second consecutive season they earned the honor.

Ephs season ended by Wheaton (Ill.) in national semifinal, 3-1

GREENSBORO, NC -- The freight train that the Williams College women’s soccer team had resembled over the last four months finally hit the end of the line Friday night as the Ephs were defeated – for the first time in 2008 – by defending national champion Wheaton (Ill.) College, 3-1, at McPherson Stadium at Bryan Park in an NCAA Tournament national semifinal.
