Wolfson named NESCAC Player of the Week

HADLEY, MA — Williams College junior midfielder Brianna Wolfson (Brookville, NY) was selected as the New England Small College Athletic Conference's Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 9.

Wolfson scored four goals and one assist in two conference tournament games last week to help the Ephs to the 2008 NESCAC championship. In a conference semifinal against Bowdoin, she tied a tournament single-record with a three-goal peformance in a 6-1 win. In a 3-2 overtime win against Amherst in the title game, Wolfson scored one goal and assisted on another.

The junior finished with five goals in the tournament and now has 28 points (10 goals, 8 assist) over 17 games this season.
