Ephs Arrive in Brazil

For the entire summer our team has been counting down the days until we would all be reunited in Brazil for our soccer training trip. Could you pick a better place to go than the home of Marta and Ronaldinho? After much anticipation, our team assembled in JFK Airport. Unfortunately, we were one player short. Lizzy Danhakl was unable to connect flights with us due to stormy conditions. She will arrive one day later than us.

After a nine hour plane ride to Sao Paulo and a three hour bus ride to our hotel and soccer resort, we were finanlly able to play. The soccer complex is gorgeous complete with mountain views and sweeping grass fields. We only trained once today so that we could shake out our tired bodies. It wasn´t much, but it did the trick. The team looks great and eager for the upcoming season. We have our first game tomorrow which will be the first game all of us have gotten to play together since our defeat last fall. Get ready because we're back and ready to win!
