Ephs wrap up Brazilian Tour

The Ephs began their last day in Brazil with a morning fitness session on the beach.  After a great workout, the team had the morning and early afternoon free to pack and soak up a little more sun on the beach. 

At 3:00, the team left the Strand Hotel in Guaraja and headed back to the Sao Paulo airport.  The Ephs arrived at the airport with plenty of time for some last minutes souvenir and duty-free shopping. While waiting at their gate, the team befriended the Brazilian Special Olympics team who were headed to China for the start of their competitions.  The direct flight from Sao Paulo to JFK was on time and the team arrived back in the United States at 6 A.M. Thursday morning. 

The girls dispersed from the airport, eager for the beginning of preseason on August 27.  Although frustrated to not get a win overseas, the Ephs are extremely proud of their progress over the course of the trip and are excited to build off of this progress in the coming season.
