
2007-08 Season Wrap-Up
The 2007-2008 Ephs posted an 11-9 dual meet record and placed in the top four in all five tournaments entered. Williams was ranked as high as 21st in the country in the Brute addidas National Coaches Poll and ranked in the top 30 in six of the nine-team rankings.
After taking third place at the New England Collegiate Conference Wrestling Association (NECCWA) Dual Tournament in January followed that up with a third place finish at the NECWA championships.

At the NECCWA Championships were awarded the highest Team GPA award and the Sportsmanship Award, which is voted on by the officials prior to the tournament. Junior Ethan Cohen won the 125-pound NECWA Championship and was awarded the tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler award. Freshman Corey Paulish lost in the finals and was named the Rookie of the Year for the NECCWA Conference.
Ethan Cohen at 125 and Dylan Rittenburg at 141 both qualified
for the NCAA Tournament as the Ephs scored for the 6th consecutive
year in the national tourney.
