
WILLIAMSTOWN, MA- In the most recent coach’s poll the Ephs
were once again unanimously ranked first in New England. Freshman
Tom Foote was named NEWA Rookie of the Week.
This past weekend seniors Dylan Rittenburg and Carl Breitenstein
joined an elite group of Eph wrestlers with 100 career wins. Only
three other wrestlers in the history of Williams wrestling have
reached the 100 win plateau they are:

NEWA Wrestler of Week: Johnson & Wales University 125 pounder
Brian Conley came through big for the Wildcats last week. He earned
a fall to help the Wildcats secure a tight 21-19 win over
Bridgewater then knocked off nationally ranked Carl Anderson of
WPI. He improved his season record to 8-4.
NEWA Rookie Wrestler of the Week: Williams College freshman Tom
Foote earns the Rookie award. He continued his strong wrestling of
late, defeating NEWA #5 Humphrey Swift of JWU. Last week he knocked
off a nationally ranked wrestler from Elizabethtown.
Notes: Congratulations to Williams College seniors Carl
Breitenstein and Dylan Rittenburg who picked up the 100th wins of
their careers in a quad meet on Saturday. Breitenstein now has 102
wins and Rittenburg 101.
