WILLIAMSTOWN, MA -- For the third straight week
at least seven Eph grapplers were ranked in New England, but this
week the Ephs have 8 ranked. Seniors Carl Breitenstein and Dylan
Rittenburg as well as junior Ryan Malo remain the top ranked
wrestlers in their respective weight classes.
Senior Nathan Shippee is ranked second at 184.
Freshman Tom Foote, reigning NEWA Rookie of the Week, continued
his meteoric rise through the rankings. He is now ranked 4th in the
285 class.
Fellow freshman, Kaison Tanabe fell three places to 6th overall at
133 pounds.
Rounding out the rankings were the junior duo of Josh Mattana,
tied for 5th at 125, and Corey Paulish, who is ranked 3rd at 149.
