Ephs still ranked 2nd in NE/8 wrestlers ranked

The Williams wrestling team (19-4-1) remained ranked second in
the New England rankings after impressive wins over Oneonta State
and Wesleyan last weekend.
The Ephs have again tied a program and season best with eight
ranked wrestlers this week.
Senior Ethan Cohen moved up to the top-ranked position in the 125-weight class, while first-year Ryan Malo remained ranked No. 1 at 197. Dylan Rittenburg and Carl Breitenstein also held steady at No. 2 in their respective weight classes (149 & 157).
The Ephs third No. 1, Corey Paulish, held on to his top spot at
141. Also holding steady were Jon Foster (4th at 165), Josh Mattana
(7th at 133) and Nate Shippee (5th at 184).
This Sunday, February 15th, will find the JV members of the Eph
team competing in the NEWA JV Championships to be held at
Springfield College.
On February 21 and 22 the NEWA Championships will be held at
Springfield College and the New England title as well as the
region's representatives in the NCAA Tournament will be determined.
