7 Ephs ranked in top 5 in NE Rankings; Ephs 2nd to JWU in team poll
Seven members of the Williams wrestling team are ranked in the
top five of the New England rankings in the first individual
rankings issued in the region.
The Eph team, ranked first in the region in the preseason is now
ranked four points behind Johnson & Wales University (JWU) and
in second place. Both the Ephs and JWU received seven first place
votes.
Ephs topping the rankings include senior Ethan Cohen (125) and
sophomore Corey Paulish (141). Ranked second are junior Dylan
Rittenburg at 149 and sophomore Ryan Malo (184), while junior Carl
Breitenstein is ranked third (157). Senior Kyle Ayer is ranked
third at 197 and junior Andrew Gatewood is ranked fifth at 174.
This weekend the Ephs travel to Springfield College to compete in
the annual Doug Parker Tournament.
