Ephs on top at NEWA Championships after day 1

The Williams wrestling team, ranked second in New England has
taken a 20.5-point lead over defending champion Rhode Island
College and holds a 28-point margin over top-seeded Johnson &
Wales heading into Sunday's final day of action.
Williams has 109.5 points with Rhode Island College scoring 89 and
Johnson and Wales has accumulating 81.5 points.
The Ephs are seeking their second ever NEWA title having
previously won in 1995.
All three Ephs ranked first in their weight class completed the
day one with out a loss – Ethan Cohen (125), Corey Paulish
(141) and Ryan Malo (197).
