5 Eph wrestlers Scholar All-Americans/win National Team Academic Award in season of firsts
In a season of firsts the Williams wrestling team placed 5 athletes on the NWCA Scholar All-American team, Williams won its second straight national team academic title and recorded its highest national finish at the NCAA Championships (10th).

Ryan Malo's bid for NCAA title (197) comes up short
Sophomores Corey Paulish and Ryan Malo led Williams to its highest finish at the NCAA Championships when Paulish finsihed 4th at 141 and Malo finished 2nd at 197 and the Ephs finished 10th among 60 teams.

Wrestling caps off historic regular season with 1st outright NEWA title/8 All-NEWA honorees
Eph co-head coaches Raf Vega (l.) and Dan DiCenzo were named the NEWA Coaches of the Year for leading Williams to their first outright NEWA title. So dominant were the Ephs they effectively locked up the title on the first day of the two-day competition.

Bill Sullivan '93 inducted into NEWA Hall of Fame
Bill Sullivan became the second Eph to be inducted into the New England Wrestling Association this past weekend at the NEWA Championships at Springfield College. Sullivan joins Jamall Pollock '96.

Ephs Win NEWA Championship
Springfield, MA - The second ranked Ephs sealed an enormous 30 point victory today at the NEWA championships. This is only the second time ever that the Ephs have won the NEWA championship and the first time since 1995. The Ephs were also awarded the "Highest Team GPA" and "Coach of the Year" honors for head coaches Dan DiCenzo and Rafael Vega.

New York, NY - After dropping their first match of the day to #15 The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), the #18 Ephs bounced back with impressive victories over New York University (NYU) and CUNY Hunter. Corey Paulish '11 and Carl Breitenstein '10 lead the Ephs each going undefeated on the day.

Six Ephs Place at Simpson Invitational
Indianola, IA - The Ephs placed ten wrestlers in the top 10, including six in the top 6, at the Simpson Invitational wrestling tournament yesterday. After placing only a single wrestler in their last appearance two years ago, the Ephs finished fourth overall against 15 of the strongest teams in Division II and III wrestling.

Ephs Wrestlers Tie #9 Team in the Country Luther; defeat Simpson 34-6
Simpson, Iowa- The Ephs traveled to Iowa this weekend to take part in a duel meet against Simpson College and Luther College. The Ephs performed well tying Luther College, the ninth ranked team in the country, and handily defeating Simpson College by 28 points.
