The Eph youth movement continues to rack up impressive
performances and keep Williams ranked second in New England in
Division III and 6th overall in New England. The Ephs are now
drawing attention on the national stage as they have ranked 23rd in
the national poll.
Ephs ranked this week in Division III include: Kyle Ayer 1st
at 197; and Dylan Rittenburg (141) and Nic Miragliuolo (149) ranked
second. Ethan Cohen (125) moved up to third from 4th and Carl
Breitenstein (157) moved up to 3rd from 5th. Of the five ranked
Ephs only Miragliuolo is a senior.
Rhode Island College continues to top the New England Division III
poll and Johnson & Wales University is in third.
A third place finish in a field of 14 at the RIT Tournament
Saturday kept the Ephs in second. Six Ephs placed in six different
weight classes at RIT.
The Ephs will close out the fall semester portion of their
schedule on December 5th when they host Norwich University in
Lasell Gym at 7:30 pm.
After the holiday season the Ephs will jump right back into action
when they host Simpson, Ithaca and WPI on January 4th and follow
that up with the Williams Invitational the next day.
