The 2007-08 Ephs finished the season with an overall record of
11-10. The ephs finished the season tied for fifth in the New
England poll with Springfield College.
Heading into the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA)
Championships at the University of Southern Maine this weekend that
will determine the region's representatives at the NCAA Div. III
Championships the Ephs feature seven wrestlers ranked in the
region.
Three of the ranked Ephs are second in their weight class, three
are third and one is fifth.
Ranked second are – Ethan Cohen (125), Corey Paulish (133)
and Kyle Ayer (197).
Third-ranked Ephs include: Dylan Rittenburg (141), Nic
Miragliuolo (149) and Carl Breitenstein (157).
Senior Doug Washington is ranked fifth at 165.
The winner of each weight class will advance to the NCAA
Championships. Additionally there are four at-large berths in the
NCAA Championships to be awarded this weekend at the NEWA
Championships.
