
HADLEY, MA -- Williams College first year forward Nicole Perry (Mohegan Lake, NY) has been named the NESCAC Women’s Ice Hockey Player of the week for her stellar play in the Ephs’ 3-0-0 week.
Perry had a sensational week for the Ephs netting the game-winner in all three contests. She scored half of the Ephs’ eight goals over the three-game span and now is tied for team-high in goals with six.
Tuesday at Castleton State Perry scored twice and then she added a single goal in the 2-0 win over Wesleyan Saturday evening and the impressive 3-2 win over nationally ranked Trinity on Sunday afternoon.
Williams is now 6-3-1 in NESCAC Played and tied for fourth place with Bowdoin. Overall the 3-0 week upped the Ephs’ overall record to 8-7-2.
Next up for the Ephs is a road contest on Tuesday night in
Bridgeport, CT where they will face Division I independent Sacred
Heart University.
