Appeared in all 24 games...led the Ephs in total points (21) with 10 goals and 11 assists... scored 3 power play and 1 short handed goal...tied with Lauren Zurek for most time in the penalty box with 32 minutes.

Did not play due to injury.

2005-2006

Played in all 26 games for the Ephs...got 1 point on an assist in her freshman campaign...registered 10 penalty minutes.

Personal

Sam is double majoring in English and psychology. She is co-president of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee, head of the Books, Fun, and Neighbors community service program, and created the Educate Uganda school supply on campus. Her older brother Nick Tarnasky plays for the Tampa Bay Lightning in the NHL.
