Julie Ellenberger (38-39) and Flora Weeks (37-40) of Middlebury College both fired 77 on the first day of the Williams College Invitational Tournament to lead their team to first place. The Panthers top second-place Amherst’s Lord Jeffs team score by a single stroke (327-328).

SOUTH HADLEY, MA - The Williams College women’s golf team finished 6th of 11 in the 2009 Jack Leaman Invitational tournament this afternoon. The Ephs shot 346-351-697 at the par-72 The Orchards in South Hadley, MA, while rival Amherst shot a 657 to take top honors.
