Ephs Finish 3rd in Wellesley Invitational

The Williams College women’s golf team placed third this
weekend in the Wellesley College Invitational with a total score of
677. Wellesley College won the tournament with a score of 667 and
Amherst College placed second with a score of 674.
The Ephs shot a team total of 338 in their second round. Sophomore
Anne O’Leary fired an 81 on her second day. Mary Gelber,
sophomore, and sophomore Kristin Nottebohm both shot an 84. Lauren
Antsey, freshman, fired an 89. Freshman Amiee Weber carded a 93 on
her second day.
“It was a very consistent round; three of our players
improved quite a bit from yesterday. Kristin [Nottebohm] played
great all weekend and Lauren [Antsey] bounced back from a tough day
yesterday,” Coach Herman stated, “It was a good showing
for the team.”
