1st Day - Ephs Place 4th in Home Tournament

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA — The Williams College
women’s golf team placed fourth with a team score of 337 in
the first day of their host tournament. Anne O’ Leary,
sophomore, was the team’s low scorer, shooting an 80 on her
first day. Sophomore Kait O’Brien fired an 83 and Mary
Gelber, sophomore, carded an 86. Sophomore Kristin Nottebohm as
well as Lauren Antsey, freshman, fired an 88. Other well-performing
Ephs include Amiee Weber, freshman, shooting an 85, freshman Dale
Markey fired a 93 and Mary Beth Daub, freshman, shot 104 on her
first day.
St. Lawrence University currently leads the tournament with a team
score of 331. Wellesley College is in second with a 332 and in
third is Amherst College with a team score of 333. Low scorers of
the tournament include Wellesley College’s Jennifer Jenq, a
senior, with a score of 76 and Elmira College’s Tory MacNeil,
a senior, also with a score of 76.
