Ephs Place 4th Out of 15 Teams in Mt. Holyoke Tournament

The Williams College women’s golf team placed fourth
overall in a 15-team tournament hosted by Mt. Holyoke College. The
team shot 326 on their second day of the tournament for a total
score of 670. Sophomore Mary Gelber placed second overall out of 75
players; she fired a 78 on both days for a total of 156 to finish
one stroke out of first. Hayley Milbourn of Amherst College placed
first in the tournament.
“All around, we played much better golf, it was an exciting
day; everyone stepped up and it was fun to have a good finish in a
really competitive tournament,” said Coach Herman. Other
scores for the Ephs include sophomore Anne O’Leary who tied
for eighth place in the tournament with an overall score of 153;
carding a 78 on her second day. Sophomore Kait O’Brien carded
an 82 and Kristin Nottebohm, sophomore, fired an 88, while freshman
Lauren Antsey shot a 91 on her second day.
