Day 1 – Ephs at Mt. Holyoke Golf Tournament


With a team score of 344, the Williams College women’s golf team is itied for eighth out of 15 teams with Amherst in the tournament hosted by Mt. Holyoke College. “We didn’t play particularly well as a group but [sophomore] Mary Gelber had her low round for the year with a 78 and had a great day,” Coach Kris Herman said. Gelber is tied for third.

Other scores included Anne O’Leary, sophomore, who shot an 85. Sophomore Kait O’Brien carded an 88 and Kristin Nottebohm fired a 93. Freshman Lauren Antsey shot a 95. “We definitely didn’t have the best day but we’re not too far from the leaders so we’re looking forward to playing again on Sunday,” stated Coach Herman.
