Ephs trail Middlebury by seven shots after day one of Spring Invite

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA -- Middlebury College got a sizzling five over
par 76 from Karen Levin to take a seven-shot lead after day one of
the Williams Spring Invitational being played at the famed Taconic
Golf Club.
Middlebury scored a 333 on the day followed by Williams at 340 and
Mount Holyoke 346.
Courtney Mazzei added an 84 for the Panthers from Middlebury,
while Julie Ellenberger shot an 85 and Jesse Blustein carded an
88.
Host Williams was led by Anne O'Leary with an 81. Melissa Barton
carded an 84, Laura Koplik an 85 and Kristin Nottebohm and Kait
O'Brien both shot a 90.
Play concludes tomorrow with another round of 18 holes.
