WILLIAMSTOWN, MA -- Once again both the Williams women’s crew team and the women’s tennis team will be featured on the CBS Sports NCAA Spring Highlights Show. The show will air Saturday, June 19 at 4:00 PM EST. Check your local listings for time and channel.
In May Justin Moore’s Williams women rowers won their fifth consecutive, and sixth overall NCAA title. Both totals are NCAA records. The Ephs came very close to having a 1-2 finish in the Grand Final with the Varsity 1 boat winning comfortably and the Varsity 2 boat pushing second place Bates all the way to the finish line.
Alison Swain’s Williams women’s team earned its third straight NCAA title in Fredericksburg, VA with a 5-0 conquest of Emory University. Swain, senior Grace Baljon and sophomore Taylor French were interviewed on site. In Swain’s first three years at the helm of the Ephs she has fashioned a 15-0 record in NCAA Tournament record.
