Cassie Loftus

Cassie Loftus joins Pat Manning's Williams College women's basketball coaching staff after spending the previous two years at Springfield College, where she earned a Master's degree in secondary education.

While at Springfield, Loftus was a assistant on the women's basketball team, specializing in tutoring the Pride's post players, including 2009 NEWMAC Player of the Year Corey Finch.

Loftus is a 2008 graduate of Saint Anselm's College, where she majored in history and minored in Catholic studies. She was also president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. She played three years for the Hawks and was designated captain for two years. In her senior season, she reached career highs in both scoring and rebounding. Loftus also spent one year playing for Brandeis University.

A native of Nashua, New Hampshire, Loftus was a member of the Nashua South High School girls' basketball team that won three state championships in her four years on the varsity. She was named First Team All-State Class L her senior year and was a member of the 2002, 2003, and 2004 New Hampshire All-Scholastic Team.





Jennifer Chuks

Jen Chuks, in her second year at Williams as an NCCA Internship recipient, serving as an assistant women’s basketball coach and Athletic Administrator was named Assistant Athletic Administrator, Assistant Porfessor of Physical education and Assistant Women's Basketball Coach.

Chuks now serves as a liaison between Eph head coaches and the Admission Office creating a strategic plan for recruiting qualified student-athletes, implementing support programs for matriculating student-athletes, coordinating an athletic diversity commitee, as she continues working with women's basketball, as well as teaching physical education classes.

Further, Chuks will work with the Eph Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), the Ephventure program (first year student orientation) as well other duties as assigned by the Chair, Director of Athletics and Assistant Professor in Physical Education.

Chuks came to Williamstown from Merrimack College, where she spent the 2009-2010 academic year as an assistant coach for the women's basketball team as well as a compliance assistant in the athletics department.

Chuks served as a membership and marketing graduate assistant at the University of New Haven from 2007 to 2009 before heading to Merrimack. In the spring of 2009, she earned a Master’s in business administration with a concentration in the management of sport industries at New Haven.

From 2006 to 2007 Chuks was an intern with the Programming Department at ESPN, where she was responsible for organizing college basketball statistics and implementing programs to identify top high school athletes.

In her playing days, Chuks earned a full athletic scholarship to play basketball at the University of Hartford. In 2006, she earned her undergraduate degree from the Hartford in psychology.

In addition to being a member of the UNH Sport Management Club, the Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), and Manute Bol’s Athletic Reading Club, Chuks had been the Women’s Program Director for Hoops for Hope in Lawrence, Massachusetts from 1998 to 2006.
