HADLEY, Mass. - Williams senior guard Mika Peterman (Los Altos, Calif.) earned NESCAC Player of the Week for Jan. 5, 2009. In a 3-1 week for the Ephs, Peterman averaged 18.8 points per game on 27-of-47 shooting (.574).
Peterman was named the MVP of the Williams Winter Classic, averaging 21.0 points per game during the two victories as she hit 10-of-14 three-point attempts (.714). She scored 19 points in an 84-63 win over Bates.
Peterman currently leads the team with a 17.6 ppg. average.
