Bud Fisher arrived at Williams in 1974 to become the Ephs head coach of Nordic Skiing.

He was named the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) Nordic Coach of the Year in 1975 and 2005.

Fisher served on the NCAA Ski Rules Committee from 1989-1995 and was Chairman in 1994 and 1995.

Fisher served as the U.S. Ski Team Assistant Cross Country Coach in 1979 and also as an as assistant on the 1980 U.S. Olympic Team.

In 2004 Fisher was an Assistant Cross Country Coach at NTG Lillehammer, Lillehammer, Norway.

Bud Fisher is a 1970 graduate of St. Lawrence University.
