It was a day of perseverance for the Ephs. Christianson noted that
it was a good day for the team but, “The conditions were bad
and there were a lot of near misses.” Reacting to his first
place finish, Christianson noted that with the challenging
conditions he was able to “squeeze out” a win and that
it has been good to show such a strong performance after coming out
of knee surgery last year.
The Nordic team had their women’s 5K free technique and
men’s 10K free technique races today. The men placed sixth as
a team with 38 points while the women placed fourth with 55
points.
