Lye named NESCAC Softball Player of the Week

HADLEY, Mass. - Williams senior SS Joey Lye (Toronto, Ontario) came away as NESCAC Player of the Week for the week ending March 29.

In a 4-3 week out West for the Ephs, Lye batted .600 (12-for-20) with a .667 on-base percentage and a .700 slugging percentage. Lye scored 10 of the Ephs' 39 runs and knocked in five. She also stole six bases in seven attempts. In the field, Lye made just one error and had a .960 fielding percentage after the first week of the season.
