Edgar Kosgey wins Fordham Fiasco Invite; Ephs 3rd

Junior Edgar Kosgey ran the famed Van Cortlandt Park course in New York today in 26:28.55 to top a field of 178 runners in the Fordham Fiasco Invitational. The Ephs finished third of the 16 teams entered (11 from Division I).
Navy won the event with a score of 29 and Quinnipiac University nipped the Ephs by a point 96 to 97, to claim third.
Kosgey was one of two Ephs to finish in the top ten as first year Anthony Raduazo captured 8th-place in a time of 27:08.81.
All of the Ephs' top seven runners finished in the top 40 with
senior Brendan Christian coming in 28th (28:08.49) and sophomore
Brian Cole 29th (28:15.29).
Seniors Brooks Udelsman and Ryan Ford were next with Udelsman
clocking a 28:19.93 and Ford crossing the line in 28:26.75. First
year David Carlin was 40th in a time of 28:29.08.
Next up for the Ephs is the Co-Ed Relays next Saturday at Middlebury College at 12:00 PM.
