
WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – Rob Livingstone, the new strength and conditioning coach at Williams College, has had a long history of working with Major League Baseball Players, Olympic, and NCAA Division I collegiate athletes.
Livingstone began his strength and conditioning career as a coordinator at Jacksonville [AL] State University (I-AA), where he served from 1999-2002. He was then promoted to the director of strength and conditioning at Jacksonville State and served during the 2002-03 academic year before joining the staff at the University of Georgia (I-A).

In 2002 Livingstone designed and implemented a safe and effective strength and conditioning program for the Clearwater Phillies, a minor league team in the Philadelphia Phillies organization. Livingstone traveled with team for away games and coordinated off-site workouts, reporting team progress weekly to the Phillies' Director of Minor League Strength and Conditioning

"He is an experienced strength and conditioning coach, which will help our athletes learn about how to best prepare for competition and reduce injury. Rob is also a dedicated teacher, which makes him a great fit for the athletic department and Williams."
From 2003-05 Livingstone was the head strength and conditioning coach at the University of Georgia working with the baseball, men's basketball, track & field and swimming and diving teams.
At Georgia Livingstone designed and implemented a safe and effective strength and conditioning program, developed and supervised an internship program for the Strength and Conditioning Department and assisted in the design of the new 18,000 square foot Olympic Strength and Conditioning facility.

From 2004-10 Livingstone worked as a contracted human performance specialist creating and implementing safe and effective workouts for Major League baseball players and Olympic athletes.
