
For the second consecutive week the Men’s NESCAC Track & Field Performer of the Week competes for Williams College. Last week it was Anthony Raduazo and this week Brian Cole took top honors on the track.
Junior distance runner Brian Cole (St. Helena, CA) coming off a winter indoor season that saw him earn All-America honors as a member of the Eph Distance Medley Relay team has continued his impressive development outdoors.
Running at the highly competitive Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton last Friday in a field of mostly Division I runners Cole posted the best Division III time of the spring in the 1500 clocking a 3:49.80.
Senior Connor Kamm is currently ranked seventh in the 1500 with a time of 3:53.30.
Even without Cole competing on Saturday the Ephs won their 22nd straight Little Three title at home on The Tony Plansky Track with 183 points, 61 ahead of runner up Amherst.
This weekend the Ephs head to Medford, Mass. and the campus of Tufts University where they will be seeking their 10th consecutive NESCAC title.The ephs have won eight of the last nine NESCAC crowns outright and tied for first with Tufts in 2007.
