Ryan Ford wins 10,000; Matt Desir 3rd in 400m hurdles at Univ. of Richmond Invite

On day one of the Fred Hardy Invitational at the University of
Richmond the Williams men's track & field team had one
individual winner, a third place finisher and a third place finish
by the 4X800 relay to highlight the opening day.
Ryan Ford, running unopposed, won the 10000 in 35:06.78 and Matt
Desir captured third in the 400m hurdles (56.69)
The Eph 4X800 relay finished in third place with a time of
8:01.58. Competing for the Ephs were Geoff rodrigues, Jared Oubre,
Will Palmer and Andrew Gaidus.
The Ephs recorded two fifth place finishes in field events with
Andrew DeSalvo tossing the shot put 14.30m and Matt Farley heaving
the hammer 44.11m.
The Fred Hardy Invitational will conclude tomorrow afternoon.
