Dan Austin '06 does not advance at U.S. Olympic discus trials
Dan Austin (Mechanicsburg, PA) placed 11th in the 12-person second flight of throwers at the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials in the discus Wednesday night in Eugene, Oregon and did not advance to the finals of the event.

Austin had overcome a spate of injuries that plagued his career, limiting him to just three years of competition at Williams. He was anxious to get to Arizona and work with throwing coach John Frazier and use the ideal training conditions to elevate his development.

5 Ephs earn All-American honors as team ties for 13th at NCAAs
The Five Ephs who headed west for the NCAA Championships closed out the three-day meet with a bang as all five earned All-American recognition. The Ephs rang up 19 points on the final day and finished tied for 13th place.

Williams track & field coaches and team members sponsored a free clinic for local junior high and high school athletes on April 6th. Over 85 students attended and 10 area coaches representing schools: Drury, Lenox, Mt. Anthony, Mt. Greylock, Mt. Anthony and Wahconah.

On day one of the Fred Hardy Invitational at the University of Richmond the Williams men's track & field team had one individual winner, a third place finisher and an third place finish by the 4X800 relay to highlight the day.
