Juniors Nick Lebedoff & Jeremy Weinberger named All-NESCAC

Two members of Dave Donn's 14-5 Williams men's tennis team have been honored with All-NESCAC honors.

Juniors Nick Lebedoff (Minneapolis, MN) and Jeremy Weinberger (Chappaqua, NY) were named All-NESCAC this season in a vote by the conference coaches.

Lebedoff, the Ephs' top singles player has been named to the All-NESCAC First Team, while Weinberger, the second singles player for the Ephs, has been accorded Second Team honors. This marks the second year in a row that Lebedoff has been named to the First Team, while Weinberger is garnering all-conference honors for the first time.

Lebedoff has compiled a record of 12-9 in his first season playing at the top of the Eph lineup. In his career Lebedoff has a 46-20 record in singles play.

Weinberger is 16-10 in his first season of playing at number two. His career singles mark stands at 51-18.

Under second year head coach Dave Donn the Ephs have extended their streak of NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals appearances to 13.  Donn's record to date is 31-9 and his first Eph team finished fifth in the nation a year ago.

The eighth ranked Ephs will next see action on Tuesday, May 19 when they take on third ranked UC Santa Cruz in Claremont, CA.
