Dan Greenberg '08 Takes Third at Nationals
MOBILE, AL – Eph Dan Greenberg ’08 finished an impressive fall season by finishing third overall at the ITA National Small College Championships. Greenberg defeated Mikey Lim of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 7-6(7-4), 6-1 to finish third in the nation.
In the semifinals, Greenberg was bested by second seeded Andy Bryan of Gustavus Adolphus, but he was not to be denied a spot on the podium, rallying back to win today’s match in straight sets. Head Coach David Donn was pleased with the performance, “This was a great way to end off the tournament and also our fall season. Dan came back strong today, determined to improve off of a disappointing result the day before and it showed in his play.”
This match ends the Ephs fall season, they finish with a record of 2-0 in team match play. Greenberg will retake his spot at the helm as number one singles for the Ephs this spring.
