Five Ephs Advance to Finals at Dartmouth Shootout

HANOVER,NH – The Ephs continued their solid play in the second day of the Dartmouth Shootout.  Five of the seven singles players will be facing off tomorrow in the finals. 

In doubles play, Ari Binder ’11 and Jeremy Weinberger ’10 captured their flight today with a 9-7 victory.  Both Weinberger and Binder will be playing tomorrow in singles finals, along with Karol Furmaga ’09, Rick Devlin ’09, and Bret Thacher '09.  Gary Simonette ’08 and Nick Lebedoff ’10 also advanced to the finals in their doubles draw.

Head coach David Donn was pleased with the performance, as the Ephs are focusing on improving their doubles play this fall season, “I was very happy with our second day effort, the doubles are coming along nicely and hopefully we can take home some singles titles tomorrow.”
