Swim/Dive land team and individual academic honors from CSCA

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- The College Swimming Coaches Association (CSCA) has awarded both the Williams men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams national academic team honors as well as bestowing nine individual honors.

Steve Kuster’s Eph men’s team posted a team GPA of 3.34 to qualify for the team award, while the women secured recognition with a team GPA of 3.30.

Five Eph men and four Eph women were named CSCA Scholar All-Americans for possessing a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 and recording at least one provisional qualifying time for the NCAA Championships meet.

Eph honorees include:  Chris Corbett, Andrew D’Ignazio, Stuart Horgan, Gary Roberson, and Greg McElroy for the men, while Lisa Cuculo, Jillian Hancock, Christina Metcalf and Sophie Sequeira were the women’s honorees from Williams.

In addition to being recognized for their academic performance three of the Eph men also earned All-America honors at the 2010 NCAA Championships: Stuart Horgan, Andrew D’Ignazio and Gary Roberson. All four of the women honorees captured All-American laurels at the NCAA Championships.
