Steve Kuster’s Williams men’s swimming and diving team won its eighth straight NESCAC title and ninth out of the 10 in NESCAC history with a youth movement and outstanding depth.
Of the 14 Ephs who earned All-NESCAC honors at this year’s Championships, only one is a senior. Diver Chris Milliken who earned honors on the 3-meter board is the lone Eph All-NESCAC performer who will be graduating in June.
A year ago the Ephs had to come back from a day one deficit to defeat Tufts and won by just over 200 points. This winter Tufts was primed for the title run, but they succumbed to the Ephs youth movement and superior depth and Williams led from wire to wire.
With six freshmen, three sophomores, four juniors and senior Chris Milliken giving the Ephs top three finishes in 16 events (most by any team) the Ephs rolled up an impressive 1937.5 points and out scored Tufts by 485 points.
Leading the way for the Ephs were freshman Paul Dyrkacz who netted All–NESCAC honors in seven events and sophomore Ben Wampler who collected five honors.
